About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Recruiting & Onboarding Manager ​(mainly ​in Operations) to strengthen our team in Hamburg.
As Recruiting & Onboarding Manager you will set up and ensure a structured process for all employees in our kitchen hubs and in our headquarter.
You will be part of the People & Culture team, but you will work with all departments across Circus.
It is important to us to create and promote a good and healthy culture both at the headquarters and in our kitchens.
Your Daily Business
  • Recruiting of our Operations team (our employees of the Kitchen Hubs, Chefs, Riders, Picker, etc.)
  • Developing and structuring the high volume hiring process
  • Being the first contact person for candidates and new hires
  • Communicating with new hires to provide them with necessary information before they are hired (e.g. contract details, work schedules, etc.)
  • Planning and implementing orientation programmes
  • Working close together with the City Managers and the People & Culture team
  • Identifying colleagues needs
  • Obtain feedback from newly hired colleagues on their experience
  • Monitoring retention and turnover rates of newly hired colleagues
Base Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related degree.  
  • 2 years of working experience as a People & Culture Onboarding Manager or a similar role in the People & Culture department.  
  • Knowledge and understanding of payroll processes
  • Sound knowledge of employment paperwork (e.g. confidentiality act, fixed-term contracts and terms of agreement etc.)
  • Working experience with onboarding software as well as Applicant Tracking System
  • Good understanding of employment rights
  • Demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Good verbal and written communication skills both in English and German  
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to solve complex problems efficiently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a start-up or fast growing company
  • Familiar with applicant tracking systems and high volume hiring tools, ideally you have already worked with Personio
