About the Role

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a key role in scaling our robotic kitchens across customer sites in Germany. You will drive pilot projects, coordinate new site launches, and optimize rollout processes – serving as a central link between customers, field operations, and our product and engineering teams.

This is a hands-on, high-impact position. You will be on the ground with customers, ensuring smooth execution, setting operational standards, and helping scale our technology in the real world.

Your Daily Business
  • Own and manage deployments of Circus systems at customer locations — from pre-installation planning through go-live.

  • Coordinate all site activities including logistics, delivery, installation, testing, and onboarding.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional and central project teams to execute according to plan.

  • Ensure excellent communication and alignment with customer site teams and stakeholders.

  • Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate cross-functional feedback to tech and product teams.

  • Track and report on key rollout metrics, such as installation time, service quality, and system performance.

  • Help develop and refine best practices and SOPs for rollout processes.

  • Represent Circus professionally and solutions-oriented on the ground.

Base Qualifications
  • Combine strong hands-on and process excellence mindset with experience in fast-paced operational environments (e.g. Q-Commerce, foodservice, grocery delivery, logistics, or tech-driven operations)

  • Proven track record of opening, scaling, or managing multiple customer locations/projects

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills in German (native or fluent) and English

  • Structured and resilient – comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholders in parallel

  • Confident working at the intersection of customers, technology, and internal teams

  • Passion for technology, process design, and creating tangible customer impact

  • Willingness to travel frequently within Germany

  • Based in Munich or open to relocating

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in training field teams and onboarding customers

  • Hands-on involvement in hardware installation or technical site setup, ideally in foodservice or retail environments

  • Knowledge of service operations, maintenance workflows, and troubleshooting

  • Familiarity with compliance and safety protocols in foodservice or other structured operational contexts

  • Background in automation technology or commercial kitchen systems
