About the Role

As a Senior Purchaser, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing our supply chain for robotic cell components. You will drive supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure that we source high-quality components at the best possible cost, all while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Your Daily Business

Identify, select, and audit suppliers to ensure optimal performance and quality.
Negotiate pricing and contract terms to secure favorable deals for the company.
Collaborate with the development and production teams to align sourcing strategies with company goals.
Conduct supplier performance reviews and resolve escalations related to delays, quality, or compliance issues.
Perform continuous market research to find new products, better suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
Oversee RFQs and pricing analysis to ensure competitive procurement.
Manage order fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any logistical issues.
Maintain accurate data within the ERP system, leading system improvements to enhance efficiency.
Work with logistics providers to ensure cost-effective and timely transportation, managing customs requirements where necessary.

Base Qualifications

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
3+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain roles, ideally in industries such as automotive, robotics, or automation.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable terms.
Experience with ERP systems and a hands-on approach to process optimization.
A passion for robotics, automation, and technical components.
Hands-on and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while creative solutions to supplier challenges and continuously optimizing processes to push boundaries.
Native-level fluency in German and strong English communication skills.
