About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud and Infrastructure Engineer (f/m/d) to lay the foundation and develop a cloud infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud environments to ensure they are secure, scalable, and efficient. You will also develop and optimize DevOps processes and oversee our network infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our infrastructure and play a key role in realizing our vision.

Your Daily Business

Establish and build a high-performing cloud infrastructure department and team, creating a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Design, deploy, and manage our cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is robust, secure, and scalable.
Develop and refine DevOps processes to enhance software deployment efficiency and reliability.
Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
Implement security protocols and manage identity access to safeguard our cloud environments.
Oversee the provisioning and management of devices, ensuring they are secure and operational.
Collaborate closely and cross-functionally with engineering teams to align infrastructure initiatives with our business goals.

Base Qualifications

5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a proven track record of leadership.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including networking and security best practices.
Proficient in DevOps tools and methodologies, including CI/CD, automation, and configuration management.
Strong leadership skills with experience in building and developing high-performing teams from scratch.
Deep understanding of security frameworks, identity access management, and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to create innovative, scalable solutions.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts also for non-technical stakeholders.
