About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join us as a Production & Prototyping Lead in Munich. This position will play a crucial role in our mission to drive a paradigm shift in the food industry through autonomous production. As a Production Lead, you will oversee production activities, including prototype building and testing. Your role will involve hands-on work, organizational leadership, and collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the success of our production processes for our kitchen robotic cells.

Your Daily Business

Lead and manage a team in production and prototyping activities, including prototype building and testing.
Provide hands-on support and guidance to team members, utilizing your electrical background and mechanical expertise.
Collaborate closely with the Procurement and Inventory teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components for production.
Oversee daily tasks and prioritize workload to meet production deadlines.
Interface with Quality Management to uphold high standards of product excellence.
Act as a liaison between the production team and upper management, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.
Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for training and development for team members.
Developing and implementing a robust maintenance system tailored for scale, ensuring the long-term operational success of our production activities.

Base Qualifications

Degree or educational training in a relevant field (e.g., Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering).
Proven experience in production management, preferably in a hands-on environment.
Strong electrical background with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic components.
Mechanical experience, particularly in the context of prototype building, is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Fluency in English is required. German is nice to have.
