About the Role

As a Senior Back-End Developer within our Order Fulfillment / Kitchen Tech Producs, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our highly scalable cloud-based food-tech platform and products. Your expertise in Go programming, coupled with your strong project leadership skills, will drive the development of agile solutions to ensure the stable operation and development of our kitchen technologies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, lead projects, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our code base.

Your Daily Business

Build and run a high-scalable cloud-based food-tech platform which ensures the stable operation of Circus Kitchens
Collaborating with front-end engineers and the product team to engineer agile solutions to interesting problems.
Leading and managing projects as needed.
Ensuring that solutions are stable, testable, and observable.
Continually improving and refactoring our code base.
Being comfortable continually learning, and acting as a mentor to your fellow engineers, helping them to skill up as needed.
Compiling and analyzing data, processes, and code.
Helping ensure fast and frictionless performance of all products.

Base Qualifications

Degree in IT or comparable in-company dual training.
Experience in guiding team-members and leading engineering projects.
3-4 years' experience in Backend Development.
Experience with AWS, infrastructure as code, CI/CD Pipelines.
Hands-on mentality, confident in taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Strongly communicative Team player.
Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable Golang code.
Passionate about Micro-services and Software Architecture.
Knowledgeable about Automated testing.
Strong DevOps skillset.
Fluent in English, German language is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with DynamoDB.
Experience with SQL databases ie. Postgres, MySql.
Experience with Machine Learning and AI.
Great Understanding of Product Roadmaps, able to contribute to sprint planning.
